5 R&B Starlets To Look Out For In 2012

Though these following female artists fall under the same genre, their distinctive sounds are what separate them from each other. Their lyric content may be similar, seeing as how a lot of them happen to sing about the ups and downs about love (but what r&b artist doesn't?) - however, they all possess their own, unique style.

5 Women Rappers To Watch For In 2012

Azealia Banks
With a new year comes many resolutions and a heap of people claiming, "This year is my year." As much as you have heard and will hear that in day-to-day life, in a way it sort of applies to music artists as well. Only, they're not the ones claiming that this year will be their year - I AM. Well, I don't want to get ahead of myself and say that these following artists will necessarily reign supreme this whole YEAR, but they will definitely be acts to look out for. This list is comprised only of female rappers.

I myself don't listen to very many female rappers at the moment because I feel like they do lack what I enjoy in any rapper. That being lyricism, delivery and basically substance.

If you lack that, then why would I want to listen to your music? I had to do a little bit of research and find not only what I found appealing to my ears, but what I think a lot of other hip hop fans will find enjoying as well.
